Let go and go with the Flow

Qigong is an ancient Chinese energy based practice, which taps into the rich storehouse of natural wisdom within your bodies.

Qigong follows natures cues through each season. This season of Fall is all about the wisdom of letting go in order to go with the flow. But letting go of something familiar even if it's not healthy can be scary. We usually are comfortable with the un-comfortablity. Change is not easy for most of us. If we don't let go then we can get stuck, angry and confused. Our energy gets depleted, which turns into illness, etc. It's a loop of old junk that we just can't stop. If we can get off the merry go round, we give ourselves the opportunity to grow, learn and develop into a better human being. How do we go with the flow? Tapping into the flow is about being in the present moment. When we resist the flow we resist of what life is handing to us. Everything that shows up in our life is an opportunity to look inside and see what we are reacting to. So all we have to do is pay attention to what we feel and the best way to do this is through the body sensations, not the mind. The mind will judge and create stories but the body is always present. Ask yourself? What do you notice when you get still and let your awareness open wide to your direct experience? What are the ways you pause to meet the aliveness in your body?

Give yourself the gift of sitting quietly at least once a day, holding space for slowing down, feeling and opening to the wisdom that is right here. Be grateful for the daily opportunities life offers to pause and allow your attention to drop inside. Take deep slow breaths often and simply let go and trust that going with the flow will set you free.
